Warr: A leader who helps Snowmass thrive

As a longtime resident and business owner in Snowmass Village, I would like to share my support for Britta Gustafson for Snowmass Town Council. As a leader who helps Snowmass thrive, that was no more apparent than when she took steps to help feed her community.

In 2024, I approached Town Council with a desire to create stigma-free food access in Snowmass Village. A place that was judgement-free, open five days a week, providing free food to those in need, supporting the residents and employees of our beautiful town. Britta saw the value in such a community initiative, immediately embraced the idea and sought ways to find us a home. She didn’t focus on whether it would work or dwell on the obstacles. Instead, she asked, “How far can we take it, and how many people can we reach?” That is her leadership: visionary, compassionate and grounded in the belief that we can make good ideas happen.

We are but one example of the many ways she has helped champion her community. She understands that a thriving community must serve the people who live and work here year-round. She knows that affordability, housing and stability are not abstract issues; they are central to whether Snowmass remains a genuine community.

Please join me in voting for Britta Gustafson for Snowmass Village Town Council.
