Daniels: An outstanding candidate for Snowmass Town Council

I encourage all of Snowmass Village voters to elect Britta Gustafson for Snowmass Town Council. Britta has been a leader in this community for years, and she is an outstanding candidate for Snowmass Town Council.

She is exactly the kind of leader we need to re-elect to Snowmass Town Council. She has a philosophy rooted in history but is strategically thinking about the future of Snowmass Village. She has proven time and again that she will work hard to make Snowmass Village thrive. She has a track record of thinking critically and creatively to solve issues facing our village, pushing back to make housing project happen with designs consistent with the village. In the end, she is tirelessly celebratory of Snowmass Village and the amazing place that it is.

Britta’s voice and leadership is necessary for the future of Snowmass Village. Her love of place and ability to find compromise has made her an outstanding town council member, and the village would be lucky to have her for another term.

I want to take this opportunity to thank all elected public servants for the time and energy they devote to making our public spaces better and this valley a wonderful place to live. It is not easy to go to the grocery store and have a 15 minute conversation about a use of public funds that someone didn’t agree with. It’s not easy to see criticism in the paper by commentary from people who don’t even live here full-time. It takes a thick skin and a giving heart, so thank you to those who stick their necks out to make the valley a better place to call home.

Please join me (a parent and invested community member) in voting for Britta Gustafson for Snowmass Town Council this fall.
