Aspen’s Obermeyer, Hunter to wed

Susan Spalding and Wally Obermeyer have announced the engagement of Natalie Obermeyer and Matthew Hunter.

The bride is a graduate of Aspen High School and Dartmouth College. She currently is attending Tufts University, where she is working toward master’s degrees in nutrition science and public health.

The groom is a graduate of the University of Maine and Boston University Law School. He works at Goodwin Procter LLP.

The couple met in Boston in August 2012. They got engaged in car No. 19 of the Silver Queen Gondola over Christmas and will be married in August. The couple will reside in Boston.

The bride is the daughter of Aspen residents Susan Spalding and Wally Obermeyer. The groom’s parents are Tom and Linda Hunter, of Unity, Maine.
