The 16th annual Intersect Aspen Art + Design Fair returns July 28 to Aug. 1 to the Aspen Ice Garden, 233 W. Hyman Ave., during Aspen ArtWeek.
The 2026 edition will feature 38 gallery presentations — the fair’s most expansive to date — from leading local, national, and international galleries showcasing contemporary and modern art. Tickets are now on sale.
“Aspen continues to be the perfect community to host these extraordinary galleries and artists,” CEO of Intersect Art + Design Tim von Gal said. “Intersect Aspen is where meaningful connections are forged — between collectors, artists and the stories behind each work.”
The fair’s 2026 exhibitor lineup includes 38 gallery presentations from local, national, and international galleries showcasing contemporary and modern art. Participating galleries include Anderson Ranch Arts Center, Casterline|Goodman Gallery, Hilton Contemporary, Winston Wächter Fine Art, SEA Contemporary Art, and numerous others from the United States, Europe, and Israel.
Intersect Aspen also announced its 2026 Artist Award recipients: acclaimed photographer, filmmaker, and conservationist Paul Nicklen and contemporary collage artist Jay Kelly. The awards will be presented during the fair’s opening day celebration on July 28.
In addition to previously announced appearances by Nicklen, Kelly, and photographer Cristina Mittermeier, organizers confirmed attendance by artists including Dean West, Paula Crown, Donna Isham, Mark Isham, and several others. Artists Whit Boucher, John Doyle, Kinga Czerska, and Topher Straus will participate through The Colorado Connection, presented by Red Brick Center for the Arts.
Organizers say the 2026 edition will feature new events including a guided tour of the Resnick Center for Herbert Bayer Studies, a presentation by architect Leo Marmol of Marmol Radziner and a partnership with Aspen Film featuring a screening of “Time and Other Materials” followed by a discussion at the Isis Theatre.

Photography will receive an expanded emphasis throughout the fair, with gallery presentations, artist conversations, and partnerships highlighting artists who use the medium to explore nature, identity, storytelling and the human experience.
The fair will once again benefit Aspen Community Foundation. New this year, select artwork sales will contribute 15% of proceeds to support the foundation’s work throughout the Roaring Fork Valley.
