Today marks the end of the season for this year's Aspen Saturday Market. Some vendors have driven hundreds of miles each weekend to set up their booths and sell their products here in Aspen. Harper Kaufman and Christian La Bar started their own farm, Two Roots Farm, this year and shared some of their behind-the-scenes preparations and struggles each week for the farmers market. Farmers have to plan weeks or even months in advance in order to prepare the proper produce for each week at the market. The beautiful arrangement of colorful produce on the market booths are literally the product of hours of manual labor and well-calculated preparations. This Week in the Life is about Aspen's own farmers market.
