Heather’s Pop-up Snowmass opened June 11 at Viewline Resort Snowmass,100 Elbert Lane in Snowmass Village. Live performances begin June 15. The restaurant is open daily from 3:30 p.m., with the last dinner reservation taken at 9 p.m. Happy hour runs from 3:30-5:30 p.m. daily, with discounts on food and drinks.
Heather’s has partnered with Viewline Resort Snowmass to continue serving locals and visitors while Stonebridge Inn is undergoing renovations — with plans to return to Stonebridge in December when the work is complete.
“When renovations at the Stonebridge Inn temporarily displaced our Snowmass location, the Viewline offered us a wonderful temporary home for the summer and fall season,” Co-owner Rene Lujan said. “We’re bringing the same savory pies, tapas, hospitality and live music people know from Basalt to a beautiful location overlooking Fanny Hill. We’re excited to welcome both locals and visitors through October, and we look forward to returning to our home at Stonebridge when it reopens this winter.”
Lujan also credited the Viewline for making the partnership possible. “We’re grateful to the Viewline team for helping make this possible,” he said. “Their support has allowed us to continue serving our Snowmass guests while creating a unique new dining and entertainment experience in the village.”
Co-owner Heather Lujan said the restaurant’s mission has always centered on community.
“My mother taught me that food is one of the simplest and most meaningful ways to show people you care. That philosophy has guided everything we do at Heather’s. Our hope is that the community will feel welcomed, cared for, and right at home,” she said.
Live local music and magic will be featured regularly throughout the summer and fall season, mostly setting up at the resort’s heated outdoor decks overlooking Fanny Hill.
Aspen magician Doc Eason will be performing Monday evenings. Eason is widely recognized as a premier magician. He remained a longtime fixture at the Tower Comedy Magic Bar in Aspen, where he entertained locals and visitors for decades before it closed.
“We’re excited to add his Monday night performances to the lineup and think it will be a unique addition to the Snowmass dining experience,” Rene Lujan said.
The opening week lineup includes all Roaring Fork Valley talent including Doc Eason Magic June 15; Urbane Coyote June 16; Hap Harriman and Guest, June 17; John Paul Riger, June 19; Wild Fight, June 20. Performances the following week include Doc Eason Magic June 22; Chris Bank & Josefina Mendez, June 24; Phillips & Paris, June 26; and Buffalo Joe, June 27.
