Bring your appetite, and grab a paddle — Anderson Ranch’s free Friday “Lunchtime Auctionette” kicks off this week at Anderson Ranch Center for the Arts in Snowmass Village.

The longtime tradition is a  free to attend series that runs each week from June 5 to Sept. 11, except Ranch Week on Sept. 17. It offers original artwork by Anderson Ranch faculty, visiting artists, students and staff. Proceeds benefit the Ranch’s educational programs. Bidding starts at $50.

A buffet lunch will be served from 11:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. at Schermer Meeting Hall, 5263 Owl Creek Road in Snowmass Village. The auction runs from 12:15 to 1 p.m., and participants can continue with their lunch during the auction. Admission is free; lunch is $25 at the door.

Artists Anne Goldberg and Bonnie Seaman will be among the artists featured for the opening week.

“The Friday Lunchtime Auctionette is one of Anderson Ranch’s most cherished summer traditions, and we’re thrilled to kick off the season with the first auction of the summer on Friday,” Andrea Jenkins Wallace, vice president of Artistic Affairs, said. “These lively gatherings have become a beloved part of the Ranch experience, bringing together artists, collectors, students and community members in support of our mission.”
