The Snowmass Wildcat Fire Protection District responded to the following calls from Feb. 22-28.

February 22

Medical call to the Snowmass Clinic for a person suffering from lower back pain. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital for further treatment.



Medical call to the Stonebridge Inn for a child suffering from a fever. One person was evaluated at the scene and refused transportation to the hospital.

Fire/medical call to the intersection of Highline Road and Snowmass Club Circle for a one vehicle rollover. One person was evaluated at the scene and refused transportation to the hospital. There were no hazardous materials issues found with the vehicle. The incident was turned over to the Snowmass Village Police Department.




February 23

Fire alarm at the Club Commons employee housing complex. The alarm system was activated by a cooking error.

Medical call to Lot 6 for a person who had fallen on some ice next to his vehicle from a standing position. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital for further treatment.

Medical call to the Gallun Lane Ski Patrol pickup location for a person suffering from a possible head injury. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital for further treatment.

Medical call to the Timbers Club Ski Patrol pickup location for a person suffering from a possible head injury. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital for further treatment.

Medical call to the Snowmass Clinic for a person suffering from a right leg injury. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital for further treatment.

Medical call to the Holiday Inn Express Lobby for a person who had suddenly felt light headed. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital for further treatment.

Fire alarm at the Seasons Four Condominiums. The alarm system was activated by a cooking error.

February 24

Fire alarm at a home on Slopeside Lane. Our response was cancelled.

Medical call to the Gallun Lane Ski Patrol pickup location for a person suffering from a head injury. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital for further treatment.

Medical call to the fire station for a person suffering from a dislocated shoulder. One person was evaluated at the scene and refused transportation to the hospital.

February 25

Medical call to the Gallun Lane Ski Patrol pickup location for a person suffering from a fractured clavicle. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital for further treatment.

Medical call to the Snowmass Mall RFTA bus stop for a person suffering from a possible overdose. One person was evaluated at the scene and refused transportation to the hospital.

Medical call to the Willows Condominiums for a person who had been assaulted. One person was evaluated at the scene and refused transportation to the hospital.

February 26

Medical call to a home on Terrace Drive for a person who was unconscious and unresponsive. No transportation was needed. The scene was turned over to the Snowmass Village Police Department.

Carbon monoxide alarm at a home on Gamble Way. The alarm system was activated by a possible malfunction as no carbon monoxide was detected.

Fire alarm at a home on Fox Run Drive. The alarm system was activated by a possible malfunction as no smoke or fire conditions were detected.

February 27

Medical call to the Gallun Lane Ski Patrol pickup location for a person suffering from a rib injury. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital for further treatment.

Fire alarm at the Lichenhearth Condominiums. The alarm system was activated by a cooking error.

February 28

Fire alarm at the Tamarack Townhouses. The alarm system was activated by a cooking error.

Medical call to the Gallun Lane Ski Patrol pickup location for a person suffering from a possible head injury. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital for further treatment.

Medical call to the Burnt Mountain Circle Ski Patrol pickup location for a person suffering from a four-inch-long laceration. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital for further treatment.

Medical call to the Burnt Mountain Circle Snowmass Ski Patrol pickup location. No patient contact. The patient was released by Snowmass Ski Patrol.

Medical call to the Gallun Lane Ski Patrol pickup location for a person suffering from facial trauma. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital for further treatment.

Medical call to the Snowmass Clinic for a person who had hit a tree while skiing and was suffering from lower flank and rib pain. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital for further treatment.

Medical call to the Snowmass Clinic for a person suffering from a fractured left hip. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital.

Gas alarm at a home on Ridge Road. The alarm system was activated by a glycol leak in the mechanical room that was creating steam. No gas was detected.
