Bucksbaum: Keep the spirit alive

I would like to take a moment and thank all the people who helped host the NorAm finals at Highlands during the past two weeks. Aspen has a remarkably rich history of ski racing and we need to keep this spirit alive going forward. Our venues and facilities allow for some of the most remarkable ski racing and training tracks in the world. To Chief of Race, Cody Oates, AVSC coaches and staff, SkiCo and all the volunteers, thank you for the countless hours in searing summer-like conditions to successfully host the Finals. Aspen’s pulse rises when racers are pushing the limits. Aspen should not only be remembered for this, but this is what we should all keep striving for.
