Bertuglia: Re-elect Dave Munk

I had the privilege of serving alongside Dave Munk on the Holy Cross Board of Directors for 13 years, many of which Dave served as board chair, and I can say without hesitation that he is one of the most thoughtful, principled and effective leaders I have worked with. Dave consistently approached pivotal decisions with integrity, humility and a deep commitment to the cooperative’s members and long-term success.

During a period of significant change in the energy industry, Dave helped guide Holy Cross Energy with steady leadership and a clear vision for balancing reliability, affordability and innovation. He understands both the operational realities of the utility sector and the importance of maintaining the trust of the diverse communities Holy Cross serves.

I admire Dave for his ability to bring people together, listen carefully and lead with respect for all viewpoints — even when navigating complex or challenging issues. His institutional knowledge, collaborative style and dedication to the cooperative model make him exceptionally well qualified to continue serving on the board. We owe our thanks to Dave for helping to guide Holy Cross to its position as a leading co-op in the nation, achieving more for climate than any organization in the region by exceeding 85% renewable energy on average, and approaching 100%, a goal set years ago with Dave’s leadership.

I strongly support electing Dave Munk for his final term on the board and I hope you’ll join me! Don’t forget to vote online, by mail-in ballot or in person at the annual meeting at 4 Eagle Ranch, by June 11.
