Patricia Ann Hill, born March 17, 1945 in Bozeman, Montana and longtime resident of Aspen, passed away at Valley View Hospital in Glenwood Springs on September 17, 2025. She was 80. She is survived by her husband, Nasser Sadeghi of Aspen, daughter Sabrina and son-in-law Sébastien Millecamps of Eygalières, France, as well as her granddaughter, Salomé. She had many many friends around the world.

Patricia was a true believer in the Aspen Idea of body, mind, and spirit and was well-known in the community for both her style and her intellectual and spiritual interests. She maintained a lifelong quest for meaning through transpersonal psychology, spirituality, and new frontiers in consciousness spanning numerous subjects. She loved to travel and took many trips around the world, especially to visit sacred sites such as the pyramids of Egypt, Stonehenge in England, and Machu Picchu In Peru.

She held a B.S. in Psychology from Montana State University, an M.Ed. in Psychology and College Administration from Kent State University, and a Doctorate of Education from the University of Northern Colorado. Her doctoral dissertation, entitled “Becoming whole again : attaining full humanness through transpersonal integration” was a textbook describing the process of achieving peak potential through the integration of body, mind, and spirit.

Over her lifetime, Patricia worked as a school counselor, therapist, consultant, real estate agent, model and notably sports psychologist to Team Canada for the 1984 Olympics in Los Angeles. She also hosted two programs on Grassroots TV: “The Changing Paradigm” and “Seeking the Divine”, both of which explored the mind-body-spirit connection and the many ways in which it manifests.

Patricia loved the Aspen lifestyle; she was an avid skier and a fixture on the Aspen social scene. She was a regular at events like the annual Wine Party, Fish House Punch Party, Tour de Rump and the Sunday concerts at the music tent. She was a member of the Elks Club, active with the Aspen Chapel and volunteered yearly with the Shining Stars Foundation. Patricia was also a renowned beauty – she was elected Best Dressed Coed at MSU and was Miss Montana State University, going on to be a runner-up in the Miss America pageant. She continued to model in various capacities into her later years. She often appeared in the society pages in Aspen Times among others.

When asked how she wanted to be remembered, she said “…that I was always convinced that people were basically good and that I always looked for and encouraged the best in them.”

A service in celebration of Patricia’s life will be held at the Aspen Chapel on Saturday, October 25th at 11am. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to the Shining Stars Foundation, which works to give strength, support, and hope to children living with pediatric cancer or another life-threatening illness and their families. https://www.shiningstarsfoundation.org/
