Richard “Dick” Weinberg passed away Valley View Hospital, 7pm October 1, 2025. Dick was an avid aviation proponent. He was certified flight instructor II, air traffic controller and Tower manager, (New York, Aspen, Eagle), airport manager (KGWS), FAA administrator (maps and air space). His passion was flying and teaching flying. Dick was also was a skier, sailor and loved cars.
Dick was preceded by his wife Suzie. He leaves behind his son Marc Weinberg, daughter in law Heidi and Grandson Errol.
Funeral Mass to be held at Saint Stephen’s Catholic Church, Glenwood Springs, Colorado on Tuesday October 7, 2025 at 6pm.
