Obituary: Gerry Morse

On August 24th, Gerry Morse born, July 11, 1942, passed away peacefully at his home in Lincoln, California. He moved to Aspen with his parents Rudy and Wendy Morse from Connecticut in 1946. After graduating from the Aspen School System, he attended college at Western State University in Gunnison, CO. During his college years Gerry developed a love of mechanics, automobiles and airplanes. From Western State, Gerry attended Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Florida, then returned to Aspen to run House Care, a division of Mason and Morse Real Estate. He later moved to California where he met Marianne Allen. From there the two of them moved to Spokane WA to create a very successful construction company which they ran together. Upon their retirement Gerry and Marianne moved to Lincoln, CA. He will be lovingly remembered by Marianne, 7 children and 9 grandchildren.There will be a memorial gathering in Aspen next spring at a time to be announced.
