Theatre Aspen unveils 43rd summer season cast
Casts announced for 'Sylvia,' 'A Chorus Line' and 'Grease'

Theatre Aspen has unveiled its initial casting for the 43rd summer season, which includes “Sylvia,” Tony and Pulitzer Prize–winning musical “A Chorus Line” and “Grease.”
“We couldn’t be more excited to bring together these three extraordinary groups of performers for our 43rd summer season. It’s especially meaningful to welcome back so many returning cast and creative team members, including one who is joining for their seventh season with Theatre Aspen,” Producing Director Jed Bernstein said in a statement. “With this year’s offerings, audiences can look forward to a vibrant and memorable summer of theatre.”
The season will also include the seventh annual co-production with the Aspen Music Festival and School for Frank Loesser’s “Guys and Dolls in Concert” July 13 and 14.
“Sylvia” will run June 15 to 27, starring Jen Cody as Sylvia, Tony Award Nominee Erin Dilly as Kate and David Beach as Tom, Phyllis and Leslie.
Tony Award-nominee Hunter Foster will return for his sixth season with Theatre Aspen to direct “Sylvia.” The creative team will include Scenic Designer Riw Rakkulchon, Lighting Designer Wheeler Moon, Sound Designer Jeff Sherwood, Costume Designer Nicole V. Moody and Wig Designer Jeff Knaggs.

From July 3 to 25, “A Chorus Line” will star Stephen Cerf as Zach, Bryan J. Cortés as Paul and Eoghan P. Dillon as Larry. The cast also includes Sam Faulkner as Bobby, Tiffany Furicchia as Val, Anissa Marie Griego as Diana, Joseph Ryan Harrington as Mike, Dakota Hoar as Greg, Francesca Mancuso as Sheila and Antonia Vivino as Maggie.
The creative team for “A Chorus Line” is led by Director Paige Price, who returns to Theatre Aspen after previously serving 10 years as executive artistic director. The team also includes Choreographer Eamon Foley, Music Director Beth G. Tankersley, Scenic Designer Rakkulchon, Lighting Designer Moon, Sound Designer Sherwood and Costume Designer Maddie Peterson.
“Grease” will cap the season from July 31 to Aug. 29, starring Nevada Riley as Sandy Dombrowski in her third summer season with Theatre Aspen. Chris Hanford will play Danny Zuko. Nick Bernardi returns for a second season as Vince Fontaine. The cast also includes DeShawn Travis Bowens as Johnny Casino, Nina Gabianelli as Miss Lynch and Teen Angel, Emilee Hassanzadeh as Marty, Kiki Lemieux as Betty Rizzo and Drew Redington as Kenickie.

Patrick O’Neill returns to direct “Grease” after two years of directing Theatre Aspen’s holiday cabarets. Additional creative team includes Associate Choreographer Bryan Hunt, Music Director Adam Beskind, Scenic Designer Rakkulchon, Lighting Designer Moon, Sound Designer Sherwood, Costume Designer Dustin Cross and Wig Designer Jeff Knaggs returning for a second season.
Additional casting for “A Chorus Line” and “Grease” will include members of the 2026 Theatre Aspen Apprentice Program.
In partnership with The Aspen Music Festival and School, Theatre Aspen’s seventh annual co-production, Frank Loesser’s “Guys and Dolls in Concert,” will be held at 7:30 p.m. July 13 and 14 in the Michael Klein Music Tent, with Tony Award-nominated Director Jeff Calhoun and Conductor Andy Einhorn.
