Pitkin County seeks community input for age-friendly action plan
Pitkin County Senior Services is hosting a series of town halls throughout the county to gather input on its upcoming Age-Friendly Action Plan.
“Just because you may have a few more candles on your cake doesn’t mean you’re done making wishes!” said Lisa Guida, Community Enrichment coordinator for the Pitkin County Senior Services Center. “These town halls are your chance to wish big and help make it happen.”
These sessions offer older adults and community members the opportunity to share their experiences on what helps them feel connected, supported, and empowered as they age in Pitkin County.
The town halls will be on:
July 17 – Snowmass Village Town Hall, 130 Kearns Road. | 1:30–3 p.m.
July 18 – Senior Center, 275 Castle Creek Road. | 1–2:30 p.m.
July 22 – Virtual Session, 5:30–7:00 p.m.
August 7 – El Jebel Community Center, 20 Eagle County Dr., El Jebel | 4:30–6:30 p.m.
