Aspen, CO ColoradoAndré David Bonhote, 42, son of Doris and the late Richard (Dick) Bonhote, passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2007. He was a loving brother to Roland, Michelle and Matthew. Born February 4, 1965, in Providence, R.I., André moved to Phoenix in 1972 with his family.

André lived in various places during his life, with Aspen being his favorite. He loved the outdoor activities, art and culture of Aspen. He was actively involved with Aspen Community Theatre, where he played the barber in “Mame” and worked backstage pulling the ropes to fly the Wicked Witch in “The Wizard of Oz.” During his many years in Aspen, he was a longtime employee of The Aspen Times. He also worked at Ralph Lauren and Renaissance restaurant.

He loved to travel and journeyed to many parts of the world. André was a great friend to all who knew him, including his canine friends. He was loved by everyone and will be sorely missed. He leaves behind fond memories of his infectious smile and hearty laugh, along with many great friends and associates from his time in Aspen.
