ASPEN – Olympic and Winter X Games champion has twisted his left ankle during practice at Buttermilk but is expected to compete in both slopestyle and halfpipe events later in the week.
White’s publicist says the 25-year-old star “tweaked” the ankle while landing on the halfpipe during practice Thursday.
A medical team treated White at the bottom of the pipe. Publicist Crystal Garrett says it isn’t a serious injury, and the 11-time X Games gold medalist will be ready to go for slopestyle qualifying Friday.
