AHS boys lax falls Thursday to Summit
The Aspen High School boys lacrosse team lost 9-6 on Thursday to visiting Summit County at the AHS athletic field.
The Tigers led 5-1 after a quarter, but the Skiers scored two in the second to make it 5-3 at halftime. Summit scored another in the third quarter to lead 6-3 going into the fourth, where the teams scored three goals each.
The loss dropped Aspen to 5-3 overall. It was a non-league game for the Skiers, who are off until hosting Fruita on Tuesday.
