Plein Air Art Festival showcasing work this weekend
Tree-O running series also scheduled

The Plein Air Art Festival will be showcasing works of 20 artists this weekend at the Snowmass Base Village.
The event will run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. The weekend culminates four days the 20 artists, who are all from Colorado, will have spent in the area painting the natural beauty of their surrounding landscape, according to Snowmass Tourism.
The work will be for sale over the weekend.
The Snowmass Tree-O, a running series, will also take place on Friday and Saturday, with all races beginning at the Snowmass Mall. Each racer will get a race bib, finisher medal, and finisher beer, according to Snowmass Tourism. Friday races include a 5k and 2k at 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. Saturday includes a 10k, 5k, and 2k at 7:30 a.m., 9:30 a.m., and 10:30 a.m. Racers can compete in all three for a 17k challenge.
