Wing: Come volunteer at The Farm Collaborative

As the school year ends, many teens find themselves stuck in the summer scroll — bored, disconnected, and unsure of how to spend their free time in a way that feels meaningful.
Here’s an idea that’s fun, real, and backed by research: volunteering. Studies show that lending a hand can actually make you happier, reduce stress, and boost your sense of connection. That’s why we are inviting local teens to spend an afternoon with us at The Farm Collaborative at Cozy Point.
On Tuesday, June 10, from 4-6:30 p.m., we’re hosting a hands-on volunteer session where teens can:
– Feed and care for animals
– Race their friends while weeding
– Help with simple building projects
– Plant and grow food in the garden
It’s a chance to get outdoors, make new friends, and do something real. No experience is necessary — just bring your energy (and maybe a water bottle). And yes, it’s also a great addition to a college application or resume.
Spots are limited, so we encourage teens to sign up at thefarmcollaborative.org.
Let’s help our teens kick off summer with purpose, joy, and maybe a goat or two.
