Lankins: Don’t let the paint dry

Everybody is entitled to an opinion, but in mine, the new corner crosswalks at Hyman Ave. and Galena Street and in front of Paradise Bakery are hilariously ugly. I’m hopeful the city won’t do this anywhere else. You use low-lead paint for the striping (and have to repaint twice as often) and then add a bunch more paint where it isn’t needed.

These wouldn’t have stopped a certain realtor from being distracted (might have contributed to it) and driving over a child. What is with these?
