Fry: Thank you Aimee Duffy

I would like to extend heartfelt thanks to Aimee Duffy of Design Workshop for sharing her expertise on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) with our regional Elevate HR community.
Over the past eight months, many have read headlines about organizations either reaffirming, reframing, or retreating from their DEI commitments. What is far less understood are the intricacies of the Executive Orders and various legalities that HR professionals must interpret, weigh against organizational risk, and act upon — often under intense scrutiny. Aimee illuminated these complexities in a way that was both accessible and thought-provoking.
Her presentation style stands out because she does more than deliver content — she invites respectful dialogue. Her ability to truly and deeply listen to varying opinions created a safe and respectful space for participants to engage. That rare combination of approachability, humility, and strength ensured that opposing opinions were heard and understood, rather than judged or dismissed.
In a moment when many leaders avoid difficult conversations, Aimee leaned in — with courage, clarity, and compassion. Her leadership at Design Workshop — and her contributions throughout our regional HR community — are nothing short of exemplary.
