Brown: Make sure to run spell check

Poor Caleb Waller. Guy is in way over his head.
For now, I’ll set aside the not-particularly-disqualifying but definitely funny fact that he misspells the names of several towns in the district on his Instagram posts and printed material (“Besalt” and “Battlement Masa”).
After entering the race for HD57 as a last-minute desperation candidate, he seems to have done little to inform himself about even the basics of governance. At the Club 20 debate, when asked about infrastructure projects in our district, he answered, “I believe in freedom.” This drew incredulous laughter even from the conservative-friendly crowd (It’s on YouTube — check it out).
Later, at the Candidate Forum in Glenwood Springs, he failed to demonstrate working knowledge of even a single piece of legislation. Instead, he offered incoherent Reaganonmics generalities bookended by the profoundly illuminating statement, “I don’t even really want to do this.”
Yeah, man, I don’t want you to either. I’m voting Velasco for HD57.
