Clurie Williams Bennis

Long time Aspen resident Clurie Williams Bennis died peacefully in her home in Cleveland, Ohio on January 7. She was the beloved mother of Katharine, John and Will, grandmother of six, and sister of Leslie Mills. Clurie raised her children in Aspen and was a passionate community volunteer, thoughtful, artistic, generous and engaged. She made significant contributions to; Environmental Research Group (ERG), Independence Pass Foundation, Grass Roots, Community School and more. Contributions may be made to Cleveland Institute of Music. A Celebration of Clurie will be held this summer in Aspen. There will be further notice.
