The vendor application for the 2026 Basalt Sunday Market is now open through 5 p.m. Friday, March 14, at 5 p.m.

Vendors will be notified by Friday, April 3. Applications received outside of the application period will be considered based on available space and the vendor’s product. The market is anticipated to take place 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Sunday from June 14 through Sept. 27, rain or shine, according to a press release.

“Planning for the 2026 Basalt Sunday Market is in full swing,” the Basalt Sunday Market information page reads. “The focus of the Basalt Sunday Market is to feature Vendors that sell items that have been personally grown or crafted.”

According to the information page, the Basalt Sunday Market aims to have a vendor mix consisting of 1/3 agricultural and grown products, 1/3 artisans, and 1/3 prepared foods.

The market will be located along Midland Spur, adjacent to Lions Park and Basalt Town Hall.

Its vendors must adhere to the rules and regulations, which include:

  • Vendors must set up between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m.
  • No vehicles will be allowed to move through the market after 9:15 a.m., and all vehicles must be parked off-site during market hours.
  • Prices must be clearly displayed.
  • Vendors must break down and clean up between 2 and 3 p.m.
  • Vendors are not allowed to close booths before 2 p.m.
  • All vendors are responsible for their own trash and removing all waste from the site following each market.
  • Vendor booths are limited to 10’x10′ in size.
  • Vendors are generally not permitted to bring pets to the market, with service animals being an exception.
