Snowmass seeks public input on its Draw Site workforce housing project.

Council will hear from the public at 4 p.m., Monday, May 19, at Snowmass Town Hall, according to a town press release. The Town Hall address is 130 Kearns Road.

The Draw Site workforce housing design comes after voters approved town funding for the site this past November. Council is currently contemplating a five-story, L-shaped building that would provide 63 workforce housing units. The project is estimated to cost around $71.8 million and would be located uphill and adjacent to Town Hall. The design includes 102 parking spaces.

The estimated monthly rental cost (not including utilities) for a studio apartment in the Draw Site complex is between $1,145 and $1,445, according to the release. A one-bedroom would cost between $1,435 and $1,735, a two bedroom would cost between $1,650 and $1,910, and a three bedroom would cost between $2,110 and $2,660.

There are currently 275 workforce employees on the town’s housing waitlist.
