“Aspen-Snowmass reps at ski shows” stated The Aspen Times Oct. 10, 1968. “Both Snowmass-at-Aspen and the Aspen Skiing Corp. had representatives at the International Ski and Winter Sports Show held Oct. 3-6 at San Francisco’s Cow Palace and they will also have representatives at upcoming shows. In addition, Snowmass is sending an advance publicity representative to each show city which the Colorado Ski Country USA state booth will visit. Aspen does not have a separate booth this year. On hand to answer questions about Snowmass and Aspen at the San Francisco show were West Village Assn. Manager Jim Berry and Charles Paterson, representing the skiing corp.” Other representatives included Terry Griggs, Snowmass Realtor, Bob Cutting, Recreation Director at Snowmass, horst Abrahan, Skiing Corp. representative, Snowmass Marketing Pete Demuth, Snowmass Social Director Jean Young, Snowmass Conference Director Dennis Keegan, Skiing Corp. representative Betsy Chase, and Snowmass Publicity Director Steve Onstad. In years after, local representatives included well-known local celebrities like Ralph Jackson, pictured here at a show at the New York Coliseum at Columbus Circle in New York City, Oct. 28-31, 1971.
