The Collective Snowmass is inviting the community to its free event, “An Evening of Storytelling: Flow Freely, Live Fully.”

The event takes place 6 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 21, at The Collective Hall in Snowmass.

Attendees will have the chance to be inspired by an evening of true, personal storytelling where vulnerability meets transformation. The event’s theme — “Flow Freely, Live Fully” — invites everyone to “reflect on the moments we stopped forcing, started trusting, and allowed life to move through us,” according to the event’s page.

A majority of the storytellers will be from the valley, with one storyteller from Salt Lake and another living in Denver but originally from Israel.

“From stories of bold leaps and creative breakthroughs to deeply personal journeys of identity and growth, these lived experiences will leave you feeling more connected to the human spirit,” the event page reads.

A full lineup of featured storytellers can be found at thecollectivesnowmass.com/event/an-evening-of-storytelling-flow-freely-live-fully-2.

“All public speaking is an act of courage,” the event’s curator and coach Alya Howe wrote in an email. “Add to that sharing a true story, a revealing perspective on your life (that) is vulnerable, a leap of faith that the audience will hold their stories with reverence … sharing a story is a most precious gift from their hearts to yours. Be prepared to laugh and cry and most definitely be moved.”

RSVPs are not required, but can helpful — they can be found at eventbrite.com/e/an-evening-of-storytelling-flow-freely-live-fully-tickets-1613022717369?aff=oddtdtcreator.
