Shelter fundraiser spot-on

Dear Editor:

Friends of the Aspen Animal Shelter would like to extend our deepest appreciation to the Viceroy Snowmass for hosting its Yappy Hour on Oct. 11 to benefit our nonprofit. Special thanks also to our wonderful community for its support and especially those who brought their furry family members.

The well-attended event boasted lots of happy, well-behaved dogs running off leash and having a great time, in addition to delicious food, scrumptious, chef-inspired dog treats, a professional pet photographer and groups of attendees having a great time hanging out slope-side at the huge fire pit.

Special recognition and gratitude to the staff of the Viceroy for going above and beyond to make this such a special event. The Viceroy Snowmass is a wonderful addition to our community, and we appreciate its desire to help not only the homeless pets of the Aspen-Snowmass area but all our furry friends. Paws down, the Yappy Hour was one of the best doggie-mingling events of the season!

Thank you!

Seth Sachson, Anne Gurchick, Bland Nesbit, Adam Goldsmith, Marcy Gates, Linda Koones and Scott Dolginow
