Sen. Hickenlooper to be in Aspen on Sunday

Colorado Sen. John Hickenlooper will be in Aspen for a meet-and-greet this Sunday, Dec. 28, from 2-3 p.m. at the Pitkin County Library, according to Renée Fleisher, secretary of the Pitkin County Democrats.
“Over this coming year, we will be inviting all the people who are currently our representatives, senators,” Fleisher said.
With Hickenlooper running for re-election in ’26, she said, he’ll be talking about what he has been participating in while he’s been a senator and what he wants to see going forward.
The event is open to the public; no donation is required.

Aspen One confirms skier death on Aspen Mountain
A skier died on Aspen Mountain Friday following a collision with a tree, according to a statement released by Aspen One’s communications team.
