The Roaring Fork Transportation Authority will soon implement its seasonal schedule adjustments.

According to RFTA, the changes reflect the transition from the high-demand winter months, which typically see increased passenger numbers due to an influx of tourism, to the less busy spring period.

The new schedule goes into effect April 21.

“These adjustments are part of RFTA’s regular seasonal changes to align services with rider demand during the off-season,” RFTA Chief Executive Office Kurt Ravenschlag said. “Historically, RFTA reduces services during spring and fall when demand decreases, leading to lower ridership.”
