Residences in Marble to be evacuated for hazmat vehicle recovery following Friday’s crash

Residences on Alpine St. and Aspen St. in Marble will be evacuated on Saturday afternoon until night time during the propane truck recovery operation following a crash on Friday, according to a notice from Pitkin Alert.
Additionally, County Road 3 will be closed between Mile Marker 0-1.5 during this recovery.
The operation is expected to last until 9 p.m., according to the release. The recovery was initially scheduled for Saturday morning, according to Friday’s story.
