Aspen Meadows Resort, Hotel Jerome, and The Little Nell hosted the second edition of the Aspen Croquet Cup on Sunday, Sept. 22.
From 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., croquet play, food and drinks, live music from Elan Artists, and fundraising for local causes were available at Aspen Meadows’ Marble Garden.
Food came from Aspen Meadows, Hotel Jerome, and Little Nell culinary teams, as well as Mawita, Taikun, Catch Steak Aspen, Petrossian Caviar, Morocha Resta Bar, and more. Drinks came from sponsors La Fête Wine Co., Woody Creek Distillers, Fluent Wine, Casey Brewing and Blending, Scale Wine Group, Cervantes Family Vineyards, Westbound & Down Brewing Company, GoodPop, and more.
A silent auction was also available for bidding.
Husband and wife Michael Estabrook and Brechtje Soepnel won the Aspen Croquet Cup this year. They selected the Roaring Fork Conservancy as their nonprofit, and since Estabrook and Soepnel won, the pool of donations will go to the conservancy, an organization the couple said they would like to bring more awareness to in the valley.
