ASPEN SKI COMPANY OFFICIAL REPORT: 0″ in the past 24 hours, 0″ in 48 hours and 0″ in the last 7 days. High of 48°, low of 23°.
ASPEN TIMES FIELD REPORT: Some trace accumulation of very wet, sticky snow on top of the warm slushy base, combined with flat light that typically accompanies cloud cover is going to make skiing conditions even more challenging than they have been. Intermitent precipitation in all it’s forms (snow, rain, etc.) over the next 24hrs. On the moiuntain, we could see a few fresh inches of snow when we all wake up tomorrow. Expect cooler temps until the cold front clears out late Friday morning.
LIFT LINE STATUS: Village Express & main “streets” in Snowmass are seeing a lot of traffic from the Disabled Veterans Winter Sports Clinic going on through Friday. If you’re out there, thank a Veteran for their service. If you’re trying to dodge that scene, I suggest the Elk Camp gondola over to Alpine Springs.
LISTENING TO: Hammering and banging going on in the space upstairs!
