A group of Aspenites traveled to Belgium in June for the lavish wedding of Ray Murray and Geert Martens, who have been together for 15 years. Celebrations lasted for four long days and nights, with the highlight being a wedding to top all weddings held in the Castle of Grand Bigard in Brussels.

Ray Murray lived in Aspen in the 1980s and early 1990s. Ray and Geert return to Aspen every year to spend Christmas vacation at the home of Tony DiLucia, who was also their best man.

Tony and Ginni Galicinao, who also traveled to the wedding, have been fortunate to be Ray’s best friends for almost two decades. Ray first met Ginni in 1985 when Ray played the role of Mark in Aspen Community Theater’s production of A Chorus Line (Ginni played the role of Christine).
