Mountain Mayhem: One decade down
Mountain Mayhem

To celebrate ten years in the biz, Aspen Peak magazine threw an anniversary party of epic proportions at Bootsy Bellows on July 5.
Guests arrived dressed to the nines at the Restaurant Row nightclub, pausing to pose for photos Hollywood style before descending the stairs. Actor David Arquette, the principal of the Aspen hotspot and its Sunset Strip sister club of the same name, was the honorary host of the evening, joined by fiancee Christina McLarty. When interviewing Arquette that night, Aspen Peak Editor-in-Chief Erin Lentz asked about the proposal, which Arquette explained was meant to take place here in town on Smuggler Mountain. He couldn’t wait to pop the question, though, and asked her back in Malibu, California. According to the New York Post’s Page Six social column, at first she didn’t accept but, on second try happily complied.
Highlights of the 10th-anniversary event included handcrafted cocktails from Woody Creek Distillers’ signature potato vodka, gin and whiskey and beats by Breckenridge-based DJ DC, who commanded the decks all night.
