Mary Josephine Fenton

Mary Josephine (Gardner) Fenton, 84, died Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012 in Tucson, Ariz., after a brief illness.
A former resident of Aspen for more than 30 years, she moved to Arizona in 1999. She had been a member of the Snowmass Club and had attended Christ Church. While in Aspen, Mary Jo enjoyed skiing, tennis, hiking and camping.
She is survived by her children John B. Cumings IV, Sarah C. Morse, Alexandra C. Sullivan and Hamilton S. Gregg III, seven grandchildren and a brother Alfred W. Gardner. Her husband, Richard C. Fenton, died in 2002.
A memorial service was held at St. Philip’s in the Hills, Tucson, on Nov. 28. Internment will be at Princeton Cemetery in Princeton, N.J. at a later date.
