Inaugural Aspen Fashion Week launches Aug. 7 to 10

Anticipation is building for the first-ever Aspen Fashion Week, which will take place from Thursday, Aug. 7, through Sunday, Aug. 10.
The highly anticipated high-altitude, high-style event will debut four days of fashion-focused runway shows, pop-ups, and activations.
“The team who has been producing Denver Fashion Week for years is really looking to take the creative spirit and the proven success with that week and reimagine it for an experience in Aspen,” Publicist Michelle Ellis said of Aspen Fashion Week’s premiere.
The buzzworthy outdoor runway events will be held at Aspen Meadows Walter Paepcke Memorial Building’s East Lawn, incorporating Aspen’s stunning natural backdrop.
Fashion Pop-up and Activations
Aug. 7: Fashion pop-ups and activations will take place to celebrate the brands, designers, and collaborators that share the spirit of Aspen Fashion Week, from exclusive in-store events to limited-time specials. Check out offerings available at aspenfashionweek.com/popups/.

Runway show schedule
Aug. 8, 4-8 p.m.: Local Fashion Show will kick off the runway shows, featuring Aspen-based Western-wear designer Kemo Sabe (originally founded in Snowmass), as well as the presence of local boutiques Bandana Aspen and P.E. 101 Aspen. The lineup also includes New-York based Katerina Lankova, who started her design career in Aspen, and Los-Angeles resident Blanco, who grew up in Aspen. Aug. 9, 5-9 p.m.: Global Runway Show will present a curated selection of top brands from both Aspen and around the world. The event will include a range of leading designers, influencers, and fashion enthusiasts, featuring emerging collections and new creative trends. Notable brands include REVOLVE & FWRD, alice + olivia collaborating with Kemo Sabe, Kiton, rag & bone. In addition, Max Alexander, 8, who became the Guinness World Record’s youngest runway designer during Denver Fashion Week 2023 will be in attendance. For tickets, go to GlobalRunwayShowTickets.
Aug. 10, 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.: The all-ages Youth and Mommy and Me Fashion Show elevates style for women and children with a selection of top brands from Aspen and across Colorado. Moms, youths, and babes will strut the runway, showcasing a variety of essentials from organic, cozy staples to fashionably forward, one-of-a-kind designs. Featured brands include Monkey’s Aspen, Bandana Aspen, Ro + Fem, and SKYEAIRE. For tickets go to YouthandMommyandMeFashionShow.

Aug. 10, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.: The Après-ski Fashion Show will hone in Aspen’s legendary après-ski culture blending “mountain sophistication and laid-back luxury” for any season of the year. Standout pieces by Aspen brands Obermeyer and Strafe Outerwear, as well as items from local ski shop Hamilton Sports and the brand We Norwegians will be shown.
