The live-fire, open-air culinary Heritage Fire festival will be back in Snowmass on Saturday, Aug. 2, according to a press release.
At Snowmass Base Village, chefs from around Colorado will be grilling heritage-breed animals and heirloom vegetables in the open air. Many of the ingredients will be sourced from local farms and sponsors.
Guests will vote for the “Best Bite of the Day,” and the winner will be crowned the “Heritage Hero.”
Heritage Fire strives to educate consumers on heritage-breed livestock and the importance of sustainable sourcing from local purveyors of your meal’s ingredients, all while giving guests a glimpse into the intricacies of live-fire cooking.
“I have a feeling that this year’s Snowmass stop will be one of our best,” event host, partner, and A21 CEO Brett Friedman said in the press release. “It’s certainly one of our most stunning locations. We have esteemed returning chefs and exciting new participants and we can’t wait to see how creative they get with their bites. This event is going to be a highlight of the summer.”
There will be spirits, wine, and sparkling water served from event sponsors. All the food will be cooked over sustainably harvested wood via Woodchuck Delivery.
VIP tickets will be admitted at 3:30 p.m. and general admission at 4:15 p.m.
