Erikka Youngstrom, a resilient two-time cancer survivor and former Aspen resident, made a heartfelt return to Aspen past last weekend.
With a spirit as vibrant as Aspen, she distributed hundreds of samples of her newly developed organic moisturizer, NOSE LUV. This innovative product was born out of Youngstrom’s struggle with allergies in 2023, leading her to create a soothing remedy for irritated noses.
Recognizing the harsh, dry conditions of high-altitude areas like Aspen, Youngstrom saw a unique opportunity to bring relief to others.
“Promoting my product was a perfect excuse to revisit Aspen, and I’m thrilled to see that it still looks as beautiful as it did 24 years ago,” she said in a news release. The conventional use of petroleum-based products to treat dry noses inspired her to develop an organic alternative. “I wanted to elevate the experience by providing effective, sustainable, and non-toxic relief.”
NOSE LUV is a testament to Youngstrom commitment to sustainability and quality. Packaged in 100% biodegradable tubes made from sugar cane, the moisturizer is crafted with organic oils like shea butter, sunflower oil, and peppermint oil. The journey to develop NOSE LUV was extensive, involving months of research and careful selection of partners to ensure the product’s ecological integrity.
“Discussing nose health might not be glamorous,” Youngstrom acknowledged, “but relieving someone’s discomfort so they can enjoy the mountains is incredibly rewarding. My clients are very appreciative.”
Youngstrom launched NOSE LUV from Austin, Texas, where she resides with her husband and two children. As she approaches the empty-nest phase of her life, she finds joy and fulfillment in her entrepreneurial venture.
“There’s no better time to start a small business,” she said in the release. “It’s challenging, but it’s a true joy to help people enjoy the outdoors.”
NOSE LUV will be available this fall in several Aspen stores, bringing Youngstrom’s vision full circle. For more information, visit NOSE-LUV.com.
