Famous last words
Dear Editor:
After reading today’s article about Jim Blanning, and the quotes from his acquaintances about how he “never would have ignited the bombs, and would never hurt anybody,” I am reminded of the capture of serial killers such as Ed Gein and Jeffrey Dahmer. Isn’t this what people said about them as well? It just goes to show you that no matter how well you think you know somebody, you may actually know nothing about them.
He was obviously a sick man, and if he had the audacity to even make the bombs, I think he definitely had it in him to detonate them. Otherwise it would have just been an empty threat. At least this is my opinion.
