Eagle County candidate to attend meet-and-greet
EL JEBEL – Eagle County commissioner candidate Johnie Rosenfeld will attend a meet-and-greet in El Jebel Tuesday.
Rosenfeld, who is seeking the nod from the Republican Party in the June 26 primary, will answer questions and outline his position at an event at the Sopris Village home of Alan Styers at 80 Arapahoe St. in Sopris Village. The subdivision is behind Movieland and City Market in El Jebel. The event will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. and includes light snacks and drinks.
Rosenfeld and Jeff Layman are squaring off to get the Republican banner in the Eagle County commissioner district one race. The winner will compete against Democrat Jill Ryan, who is unopposed in the primary.
In the commissioner district two races, Democrat Jon Stavney and Republican Shayne Mitchell are unopposed in the primary.
