CHEYENNE, Wyo. ” A traffic stop on Interstate 80 near Evanston in Wyoming resulted in troopers seizing about 105 pounds of marijuana.

Troopers believe the marijuana was en route to Denver.

The Wyoming Highway Patrol said a 17-year-old juvenile from California was taken into custody and charged with felony possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.

The eastbound pickup was stopped for speeding and lane use violations just outside of Evanston on Sunday after 1 p.m.

The patrol said when it discovered the juvenile was operating a vehicle with suspended registration tags, a search was conducted and the marijuana was found loaded in garbage bags in the bed of the pickup.
