Castle Creek and Maroon Creek Roads to close for winter this Friday

Seasonal closures for Castle Creek and Maroon Creek Roads are set to begin 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 8, according to a Pitkin County alert.

Castle Creek Road will be closed at Ashcroft, around mile marker 11, while Maroon Creek Road will be shut down near T Lazy Seven Ranch, around mile marker 3.

Both roads will remain closed to motor vehicles beyond these points for the winter season and will not reopen until spring.
