Aspen’s Smuggler Bridge assessment to continue

The city of Aspen will continue geotechnical testing on Smuggler Bridge from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday, Sept. 29.

Smuggler Bridge is located on Power Plant Road. Drivers should expect single-lane, alternating traffic during this time.

“The city of Aspen appreciates the public’s patience as crews work to ensure the long-term safety and reliability of Smuggler Bridge,” the press release states.
