Aspen’s Little Nell is Five Diamond for 21st year

ASPEN – AAA announced Friday that four Colorado establishments, including The Little Nell hotel in Aspen, received the travel authority’s highest and most exclusive rating, the Five Diamond Award.
Only 0.3 percent of the 59,000 AAA-approved and diamond rated lodges and restaurants in North America achieve the rating. This is the 21st consecutive year The Little Nell Hotel has earned the top award, according to AAA.
The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs got the Five Diamond designation for the 37th consecutive year. The Ritz-Carlton, Denver, was the third recipient in Colorado in the lodging category.
The only Colorado restaurant to achieve the Five Diamond rating for 2012 was the Penrose Room in the Broadmoor.
