Aspen’s asphalt milling, paving work could impact parking
Aspen will begin asphalt milling and paving work on Monday, Sept. 15, as part of its annual street maintenance program.
The first location will be South Garmisch Street, according to a press release, with work continuing at several sites throughout downtown in the weeks following.
“This effort is designed to extend the life of city streets, improve driving conditions, and maintain the quality of public infrastructure,” the release states.
The city and its contractors will use rolling detours to minimize disruptions and ensure traffic flow.
