Aspen girls lacrosse team overwhelms Eagle Valley

EAGLE VALLEY – The Aspen High School girls lacrosse team improved to 5-1 with a 14-2 victory at Eagle Valley on Wednesday afternoon.

Libby Dowley started the scoring parade for the Skiers with a goal barely 45 seconds into the game.

Julia Boronski and Shannon Turbidy pushed the lead to 3-0.



Paige Johnson added a first-half goal for Aspen, as did Turbidy.

Then, Dowley scored back-to-back goals on back-to-back assists from Sarah Chiles.




Turbidy added three more second-half goals in the Aspen win, twice assisted by Rowley.

Kendall Anderson and Nina Christensen also scored for the Skiers. Boronski addd a second goal, as well.
