Aspen Grove Fine Art is inviting the community to experience “What is Real: The Echoes of Ashley Collins,” a landmark exhibition that will be the most expansive collection of her work ever presented in the United States.
For two evenings, guests will be able to meet Collins in person during the private and public opening nights, where she will offer personal insights into her process and inspiration.
“Each of Collins’ powerful, large-scale mixed-media paintings is a layered meditation on time, memory, and resilience,” a press release states.
The private opening night will take place at the gallery from 5-7:30 p.m., Friday, Aug. 1, and the public opening reception will take place 5-7:30 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 2. There will be an artist talk 6 p.m. nightly. RSVPs are required for both events and can be found for the private event here and the public event here. Space is limited.
