Gray will bring her dynamic soul songs to Belly Up Aspen, July 21

Macy Gray, R&B soul singer, songwriter, and producer, will perform at 8:30 p.m., Monday, July 21, at Belly Up Aspen. Gray, originally from Canton, Ohio, went to Los Angeles to study scriptwriting at USC. In school, she started writing songs for friends. One day, the singer who was supposed to record the demo songs didn’t arrive. Gray stepped up and sang her own songs, and in that moment, she found her voice. That fateful day began her legendary career. The artist who broke onto the scene with her triple-platinum album will be performing her soul-spirited songs. The all-ages show requires those under 18 to attend with a parent or legal guardian. Tickets and meet-and-greets are listed on tickets.bellyupaspen.com/link/event?event=macy-gray-7-21-25.

Mozart’s Così fan Tutte at the Wheeler Opera House in July

Aspen’s Opera Theater and VocalARTS program will perform Mozart’s “Così fan Tutte” on Monday, July 21; Wednesday, July 23; and Saturday, July 26, at the Wheeler Opera House. Opera luminary Renée Fleming makes her directorial debut, featuring rising stars from the Aspen Opera Theater and VocalARTS program. Audiences will see what unfolds when an old cynic makes a bet with two younger friends that their fiancées will be unfaithful. The plot may seem silly on its face, but through the genius of Mozart’s music and DaPonte’s libretto, there is an opportunity to discover deeper meanings and questions about the nature of love, the conflict between reason and emotion, and the consequences of idealizing others, along with what many consider the pinnacle of music written for the opera stage in the intimate and historic Wheeler Opera House. Hunter Hayes hits Belly Up Aspen with new performance, July 24

Hunter Hayes will perform at 8:30 p.m., Wednesday, July 24, at Belly Up Aspen. Hayes loves to change things up, shifting from country music into a new world that blends different genres. The multi-instrumentalist and platinum-selling artist is a prime example of the kind of musician who welcomes change and works to rewrite music’s rules. After his album, “Red Sky,” went platinum, Hayes carved his own path. On his album, “Red Sky,” the singer-songwriter creates memorable tunes and instantly catchy hooks. His music shows his influences and talent; he proves this by playing every instrument on his records. This Louisiana native has racked up more than two billion global streams since his first album came out. He also has six gold and platinum singles. It is an all-ages show. Those under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Tickets are available at bellyupaspen.com/events/hunter-hayes.
